error 30011 during installation

I hope this problem hasn't long been discussed and solved but during setup (in particular: when installing the audio-gameport) I get an error #30011 and when restarting a message that the soundcard "couldn't be initialized". I use Win98Se and a SBLive! 16bit.

there's something wrong with your OS, since '30011' error means the setup program could not install required .INF files
