recorded midi data played back early...
First of all, congratulations on the continual improvement of the KX drivers.
Problem... Using Cubase SX v1.02 and cubase 5, playback of recorded midi information is visually and audibly shifted early by approx a 32-64th note. Latency is spot on for real time playing but is somehow recorded early. note# (This didnt occur with the EMU drivers) Keep up the good work! ---------------------------------------------------- kX Audio Driver, kX Mixer (Debug) Copyright © Eugene Gavrilov, 2001-2002. Also affects audio!
Ez Team KX
you know what ? Audio is also affected by this early playback bizness. I was recording claps over a drum beat and on playback each clap had been shifted forward by the exact ms of whatever latency setting I used. I dont have a midi keyboard handy at the moment so cannot check the 'latency - time shift' relationship with midi data. Anyone else out there experiencing similiar symptoms ? Awekid |

Me too!!
I am having this problem with MIDI (not audio). I just bought a brand new system and it definately should not be doing this. I tried two different sound cards and... nothing. It's got to be a driver or software issue. It does it in Cakewalk and Cubasis. It has to be some kind of global problem, Please share any info as to how to solve this if you have any. Thanks, Charlie

Are you guys making sure that you have set your sequencer to 48kHz..!!
This also means that all your audio clips in your project must be 48khz not 44k. HTH, /Lex.N. |
