kx drivers are incompatible with AC3 decoders
Bug report:
Driver version: 5, 10, 00, 3528 - debug OS: Windows XP Hardware: Audigy 1 Problem: It is impossible to play Dolby Digital/DTS soundtrack to S/PDIF output using kx driver. A/V receiver with a hardware ac3 decoder can not recognize Dolby Digital stream received from Creative Audigy by Coaxial S/PDIF. So are you sure you are doing everything correct (e.g. selected "SPDIF out mode" in your AC3 player, turned on "AC3 passthrough" in kX and use right cable)?
