3538j: ASIO Sync method blank first time

A very minor issue:
The first time I opened up the ASIO Control Panel, the 'Sync' method combo box was blank. However, you can still pick a sync method from the dropdown list, and it is shown the next time you open the ASIO Control Panel.

It appears that this issue may be with with all 3538 versions.

I'll confirm this behaviour with A2ZS also...

Confirmed here too (SB0102 5.1 [c800],WinXP Pro 32bit), but this is not big deal EXCEPT one condition:
did someone of you tryed to LEAVE the setting BLANK? and what happens after you open the ASIO setting window again? the bug still here or no?
And what is the setting then - think m0, but is it m0 really?

I think that when I initially opened the Window, that I left it blank, and it was still blank when I opened it again, but I cannot be absolutely sure (and I am not sure if I used OK or CANCEL to close the window the first time). As for which method it was using (when blank), I would guess the default, but I do not know.

I have this issue with all 3538(h,i)

.I think ,if combo box blank, sync metod "Default" m0.

hello all

here the same, after installing with some problems (creative driver not completly uninstalled) i got it to run, same with asio-window and sync.
but after setting it to default, it was stored and after reopening it was also default.
but i found another problem with the optical out. i can´t find the coax/optical output, but all other analog are working. i had tried it with proFX k2lt and also with the standard epilog. to get signal for analog, i have to switch the SPDIF bypass on the mixerpage to on, otherwise i get no signal.
do anybody know for what the p16v dropdown in the main mixer page means.

Hmm, I do not remember seeing that in previous versions. Is it only after you first installed, or is it like that often?

the p16v is part of the audigy 2 24/96component

After I first clean install anyone 3538 drivers combo box blank.I set sync metod m3 (good for me) and ASIO Panel remember this.

i know, the p16v is for 24/96, but what means "CD SPDIF, COAX, SPDIF C, I2S 0, I2S 1, I2S 2, 10k2 0, 10k2 1, 10k2 2" is this for switching between the inputs for 25/96 recording?
do you have a A2 ZS NB? i can´t get a digital (optical) out to my active edirol speaker, with the creative it was working well. i made the wires in the dsp to all out´s on k2lt but i only get analog out when i switch to spdif bypass . any idea?
have a nice summer (in australia), we have a very cold winter here in europe.
