3538J: Front panel Headphone sensing not as reliable as in 3538H

My card: SB350 - A2ZS Plat.

It seems that front panel sensing / auto mute doesnt work as well as in 3538H.
If the pop up doesn't show - I have to un-mute manually.

If unplugging headphones - and pop up doesnt show - I have to manually un-mute speakers and mute the headphones.

If I plug in headphones and pop-up doesnt show - I have to manually un-mute the headphones and mute the speakers.

I noticed even in H a few times it wouldn't sense the change (no popup) - In J now it rarely does. I have all notifications enabled - and automute checked in KX settings.

Note also: SPDIF notifications seem to popup more reliably.

Also - AC3 decode popup doesnt alway popup either.

I guess you need to install the monitor and check its logs when you plug in/out

similar behaviour with automute and remoteIR (they work intermitently) here

Lots of settings are not restored when the headphone is taken out.
I use a 200 Watt speaker set and it has no volume control... When I take out the plug, all hell breaks out! :-)

(Using kx l version, but it has been since I can remember)..
