why are you selling the ram on ebay if you want 2x512mb ram for the mobo?

that doesnt make sense?

^ Actually, if you bear in mind one detail, then it makes plenty of sense.

My motherboard doesn't like running 250MHz 1:1 for some reason. A call to MSI technical support yielded the following response: the Neo2 *officially* supports PC3200 (that's a strange response considering this board was known to be a stellar performer at higher FSBs) or my CPU is faulty/defective (AMD seems to disagree, go figure ). Nonethess, rather than sit on more expensive memory and hold it back, I've decided to just overhaul the PC altogether and go PCI-E and PC3200. My current sticks pass MemTest just fine at 250MHz ASYNC, but I can't drop the HTT and multiplier on my CPU and run 250 1:1 without Prime95's small FFT torture test erroring out.

So, I'm trying to sell/trade the more expensive PC4000 and get some slower PC3200 that will work in the other systems in my house.
