I'm selling 2 x 1GB OCZ DDR 500, 3-4-3-8, OCZ Gold Edition GT XTC, asking for 180 shipped for both or 85 each + shipping. Willing to trade for DDR2 2 x 512 or 2 x 1 GB for the same amount of DDR1. Post if intrested, prices are negociable, i'll post pics if someone shows intrest.

so... those sticks are: 1gb od OCZ DDR 500, and a 1gb OCZ Gold Edition GT XTC DDR 500? so both are DDR 500, not one of them is a 400?

i found an error in my post, 85+85 is $170 making buying it piece by peice cheaper. I've now changed it to 85 + shipping for each. hehe, sorry it was 10PM, i was tired.

despite the fact i really want those, my motherboard told me no. He will not apply to those sticks. He will only run ddr400..

You can always just use those sticks and then overclock... You can force it to run as DDR400 from the beginning and then have some fun OC'ing your FSB.

if somebody could explain me how, i would love to take them off your hands..
edit: ur saying i can run ddr500 as ddr400.. how is that preformance wise, i mean.. what performace is it then, do i get performance as a ddr400 with the 3-4-3-8 timings, or is my memory faster then ddr400 considering its ddr500...
could someone explain this more?

im planning to overlock my cpu, so are these sticks suitable for that.. or should i take ddr400 for that..?

im confused..

DDR 500 is gonna be better for OCing, you can OC your DDR 400 stick to DDR500 speeds

ill buy them (cheaper then anything ive found, memory in holland will cost me $300-$400)
only i will have to find i way to get them working i suppose. Never overclocked anything in my life else then my vidocard..
