He posted a 9700Pro in Feb. here under the name Rawkcasbah. He's got alias's & phony emails addy's. Be careful.

Thought: a "Trusted Sellers" 'sticky' for forum members?

I read about this guy over at nVnews, and he is nothing but BS and trouble! Do NOT fall for his patter, and I would highly suggest against doing ANY deals with him.

well someone report him to the LAW ......... he apears to be useing a school systems and is most likely not a adult.... considering the name he's giveing is supposably his stepfathers so he useing goverment computers (tracked like you wount belive) to comit fraud very serious fellonies

Every now and then someone gets jipped and there's not much a guy can do, but this fella appears to be ripping tons of people off. I wonder how he was able to doop so many people into buying from him. Oh well good heads up on the thread.

Little late to the table but there are several places that you can find info on trolls in the trading community. Many forums have their own lists but I've found the best over all list of deadbeats is at the anandtech forum in the for sale/trade section thread titled Traders to Avoid. Some info I get before trading is the person's name, physical address, physical phone number (cell phones and work phone have a habit of disappearing after a bad trade) and references are a *must*. Ebay references are great but there is a website that specializes in in forum trading references here:

If you plan on trading a great deal I highly suggest getting a heatware account and requesting and leaving feedback after every transaction you make. Also use common sense, if a deal sounds too good to be true then it probably is. I've only covered a few tips I consider important. You can find more info on how to trade the online forums by going trollhunters and reading through there trading advice section.

If someone asks for nothing but a check or money order and refuses do use paypal, then that should be a hint. I am not saying all sellers should not be trusted if they do not use paypal, but I know I sure feel better about a seller using it.
