I wanted to go with the Blitz Formula because I'm planning on upgrading to a P35...I don't plan on using dual graphics cards and PCIx 2.0 is pretty much useless at this time and those are the only real 'improvements' the X38 offers over the P35...the Blitz Formula was without question the best P35 board and it overclocked like a beast

you do know that the blitz formula normally costs more than a maximus right? and no one is going to lower their prices significantly to sell it, if they have it anway....

you are seriously wasting your money if youre trying to get a blitz formula because, no one really bought it, at least no one here.....

another thing, do you even know very much about it? what makes it expensive? what gives it that boost? its the CrosslinX chip, a chip designed by ASUS to balance the load between the two PCI-E x16 slots to an x8, x8 setup in Xfire vs x16,x4 in other dual PCI-e P35 boards.

you yourself said you dont plan to get dual cards so why get this? the entire market for this board was before X38 hit so people with Crossfire setups can upgrade to a better chip from say, a 975X.....

go with a P5K Premium, its cheaper and much better suited to your needs
