Voodoo5 5500 AGP for sale.

I have a working Voodoo5 5500 AGP video card (USA/NTSC version) for sale. The sale is exclusive to the members of Driverheaven. It comes with the original driver disk and install booklet. (pics below)

This card has never been overclocked. It was only used for about 4-6 months and then got replaced by a Radeon after 3DFX got bought out and driver support was dropped. It has sat in an anti-static bag ever since.

I'd prefer to sell it within the USA to avoid currency translations or out of country shipping hassles. It will be shipped UPS.

I have never used E-Bay and don't want to start. I prefer to deal with checks since I don't do PayPal or credit cards. <--I prefer to pay for things once

I got one sitting on me shelf that's the exact same that I picked up for $50us a few months back...and I probably paid too much for it.

Now if it happened to be a revison 1.18 card then it would be worth something, but yours is just the regular 1.06 that everyone else has. Dig that wasn't that bad of a price for a crad that is becoming increasingly rarer, heck back when the voodoo 5 6000 was first leaked I paid 900$ for one, but I cant spend money like that anymore.

Mine is the 1.06 revision too...what's the big deal about the 1.18? (BTW-The Voodoo5 6000 still brings a hefty price on the market, the card is history & legend...not to mention rare as f*ck-all!)

It seems I've read that somebody expressed an interest in getting one of these, I have one, I'm willing to sell it. What else can I say?

The 1.18 has much faster ram, and a few misc. fixes. Supposadly theres a 1.16 and a 1.12 too, but I have never seen either. I traded my 1.06 for my friends 1.18 who didn't know what he had.

Well add 1.11 to that list of revisions. I just went to see what revision I had and that's what it says. Although I have a PCI version of the 5500, so that could explain the different number...maybe it's the equivalent of the 1.12 AGP? Interesting.
