WTB: 8800 or 9600 Series Video cards

Looking for people who have upgraded and are looking for a little turn around on their older card.

8800gts, 8800gt, 8800gs, 9600gt, 9600gso

Would consider 9800 Series as well!

Well 9600gso is simply a 9600gt reducing the overly aggressive protection on VCore voltage of 1.1V with a bit more ram and lower clock. The entire 88xx series for me runs too hot and not my cup of tea but we all have our preferences.

Only card that caught my eye in the 98xx series is the 9800gt+ because of the smaller die size like the G94 and hence lower temps

actually, the 9800GT and the 8800GT are basically the same card. the only difference between the two cards is that the 9800GT supports OpenGL 2.1 rather than 2.0

the GPU of both cards are the same. the thing that makes them different is the BIOS that has the card say it's a 9800GT
