Smilie WTD*: non-standard PSU power plug

Anyone have nonstandard PSU power cord you don't use? I badly need one

Something similar to this:

*WTD - want to donate

Re: WTB: non-standard PSU power plug

Just FYI, you're looking for a C19 cable, at least at that end. Standard cable for most stuff in North America use a 5-15P (male end) to C13 (female end) like THIS one, but sometimes you will see that C19 type in rackmounts and some other devices that require a higher current. So, I guess the questions is, since you need a C19 on one end, what do you need on the other?

Re: WTB: non-standard PSU power plug

Thanks for the info, Tipstaff! I'm still a bit confused if I need C19 or C20, especially when someone posted this link

A 5-15P male end will also work here in the Philippines as well.

Can you point me to some webstore where I can buy a C19? Preferably one based in Asia (for lower shipping cost)?

Re: WTB: non-standard PSU power plug

C19 is the female end, C20 is the male end, however it's usually a recessed male end like you'd see on the device itself (like a power supply).

As for a place to buy them, at the moment I don't know any local places for you, and ones that ship there, the only one I can think of right now is Stayonline.com. Problem with them is they are a bit expensive. The other would be ebay (be sure to go into the "Computers and Networking" section first, then do a search for C19.. you should get a bunch of hits). Wish I could help a bit more.

Re: WTB: non-standard PSU power plug

I still don't have this. No package has arrived yet from the web sponsor. I can't buy from eBay as I don't have a Paypal or credit card. Been looking around here in my country but it's too expensive for me ($40).

Anyone want to donate and willing to ship to my country? Even if you use sea freight (so its cheaper), I'd really appreciate it...

Thanks!

Just to be clear: do you need it to be a 5-15P on one end (the male end), and C19 (the end in your pic), or does the male end have to be something else?

In any case I'll see if I can find the pile that has one of these. No promises though, but at least I can see if I still have it, and go from there.

Re: WTB: non-standard PSU power plug

@Tipstaff -- having C-19 at the female end and 5-15P at the male end is great for me as 5-15P is what my country uses! But any male plug will do as I can buy an adapter this.

Thanks for whatever help you can give. I really appreciate it, even if you find nothing in the end

Re: WTB: non-standard PSU power plug

I had a client dump a crap load of Dell PDU 1T890 APUs on my doorstep, along with a ton of adapters (among other things), so I have a big box of this stuff at my store. I don't have a 5-15p to C19, but I do have a C14 to C19 adapter. You can use that along with standard 5-15p to C13 cable with it. Hell... if it doesn't change the postage, I'll even send you one of those too.

Just PM me your address, and I'll try to send it out to you on Monday (or sooner if I can).

Re: WTB: non-standard PSU power plug

Maraming salamat (thank you very much), Tipstaff! I really, really, really appreciate the whatever you can send me!

Been trying for months to look for a C19 cable here. Tried everything I can other than ordering from the UK, but the cost is very prohibitive!

PM sent
