WTB: Early socket 775 CPU / socket 478 motherboard.
Heya all.

I'm wanting to modernise my linux box, and curretly have everything I need.

Except that I've a spare 775 mobo with no CPU, and a spare 478 CPU with no mobo.

I don't like to spend money on this rig really, so I'm looking to just pay for shipping and put a couple of quid in your pocket for your trouble, for either:

-A socket 775 CPU, e.g. P4 HT, high clocked Celeron D. Obviously I'll consider more powerful models, but you might be less willing to let them go away on the cheap :P

or

-A MATX socket 775 motherboard with decent OC potential.

We've got a few 478 motherboards at work that we need to get rid of as they're not powerful enough for the work any more. They're Gigabyte, compatible with DDR up to 400MHz. I'll take out the processor and HSF to save on weight (and the fact that you don't need a processor).
I need to pop in to work today to pick up a parcel so I'll ask for you to see if I can nab one - it'll cost you postage.

Wow, thanks. The CPU I have is a 2.4GHZ northwood P4, so feel free to throw in a CPU if what you have exceeds that :P

Change of plans - I'll be going tomorrow as I've been waiting in all day for Xmas meat, which still hasn't arrived
I'll have a check to see what the processor is that we used. I think they might have been 2.8GHz but don't hold your breath.
