FS: Higher end gaming rig
Edit: Added some pictures as a guy wanted to buy it, don't worry he seems really shady and I won't give him my baby
Sorry pics aren't of the greatest quality, couldn't figure out why the camera was taking funky picshttp://img834.imageshack.us/img834/9103/pict0283bg.jpg http://img200.imageshack.us/img200/736/pict0284q.jpg http://img857.imageshack.us/img857/9677/pict0285.jpg http://img576.imageshack.us/img576/3800/pict0286o.jpg http://img215.imageshack.us/img215/5541/pict0287s.jpg http://img703.imageshack.us/img703/2150/pict0288s.jpg Built this a bit over a year ago, added in the SSD, 5870, and PSU over the summer. Computer has been kept in excellent condition, just a bit dusty at the moment SSD fits about ~2 recent games (aka games with large installs) after a Windows Vista/7 install, 500gb hd is hopefully enough for your media storage needs Power supply is an excellent unit, great for overclocking or adding in another 5870. Crysis, Fallout 3, Dragon Age, Bad Company 2, Metro 2033...you name it I've played it. I game in 1920x1080 with max ingame settings + anti aliasing and whatever graphics/hires mods I can get my hands on! It's only lagged a tiny bit during the most epic of battle scenes, it's safe to say it can handle anything you throw at it ![]() Overclockers: Haven't really pushed the rig since I see no need, but CPU hits 3.6ghz @ stock voltage and I've pushed the 5870 to 950/1240. Definitely at least a little more headroom on both! Fwiw the Sapphire 5870 is non reference, hence the voltage can't be adjusted via software Scythe CPU cooler isn't the greatest, but it's a decent budget option and it's got artic silver on it. GPU/CPU temps are both respectable under stress testing! Looking for $700 (not incl shipping) or best offer. Preferred payment method would be PayPal, I play online poker for a living and transfer on PokerStars or Full Tilt would also be acceptable! I will be parting this out in a week or so if I can't find someone to buy the whole thing. If you're interested in a specific part let me know! I have a 24" Viewsonic VX2433wm that I'd throw in for $90 if you're interested. Motherboard: Asus M4A78T-E AM3 AMD 790GX CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition 3.2ghz Ram: G.Skill Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR3 1600 F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL Hard Drive: SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3 HD502HJ 500GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s DVD/Rw: Samsung CD/DVD Burner Black SATA SH-S223C Heatsink/fan: Scythe Katana 3 SCKTN-3000 w/ 92mm fan Solid State Drive: OCZ Vertex Series 60GB 2.5" OCZSSD2-1VTX60G Graphics Card: Sapphire Radeon HD 5870 1GB 100281-3SR Power Supply: Corsair 850HX CMPSU-850HX Case: Lian-Li Lancool PC-K58 Black Mid Tower Case

Re: FS: Higher end gaming rig
Will be putting the rig on ebay tomorrow! Btw shipping from Minneapolis to Los Angeles is about ~$130 if my weight estimate of 20 pounds is correct. I'll be taking it out for some shipping estimates tomorrow
I'd probably be willing to ship internationally, but I think you'd be wasting your money!
