Which one is better? gffx 5900u 256mb or radeon9800pro 256mb? Pls help.

Depends on what your general use with it would be, if your looking for a futureproof chipset (dx9)
then there can only be one: >9800 which also is $100 cheaper.
But don't take my word for it... maybe you should read this before buying which is illuminating to say the least.

never tried either but ati driver support is better.9800pro.

Never tried the Fx...but reading all the reviews it looked like a wise choice to buy the 9800pro...have never looked back since..

9800pro is faster and has better picture quality. also it only takes up the agp slot (5900 takes up the pci slot next to it) , the downside is .. you will have to listen to Nvidea FanBoi's Bitching

Most of the 5900 ultras only take up one slot.
