Radeon 9700 Pro...$150 + S&H
I have a 7 month old, mint condition Sapphire Radeon 9700 Pro, that I might be willing to be part with
for $150 USD + S & H ($6-$8 usually...overnight is a bit more of course.) I don't use Paypal, don't exchange credit card numbers or whatever. I have done this more than a few times.... GeForce 3...SoundBlaster Live cards...games, etc. You send me a Money Order or Cashier's check in the amount of let's round it off to $158 USD. The minute I get it, I drive up my little street, with your nice nearly new (Retail) card all tucked away in about 1,000 foam peanuts, anti-static bag, and a coupla' packaging air bags, I send your card to you however fast you wanna pay for it to get there. Want it next day air? Better make the MO or CC for about $170-$175. I can give references, and you can ask around the F1 Sim forums about me and my character if the means of exchange bothers you. To be honest, it would me, but I know I'm honest, so it shouldn't bother you. Did that make real sense? No...but you get the point. Only reason I'm getting rid of it, is because my Radeon 9800 Pro is doing me great, and I don't plan to upgrade my vid-card until the next BIG wave of cards from ATI. The XT series just ain't it...imho. Just PM here if interested and we'll work out the details.

It's the revision 1.2? Also what speeds has it been up to and run at?

It also has a fan...not that passive cooling BS. As far as O'clocking goes, I've had it up to about 30-35 over on the memory, and 35-40 over on the core. This was only during benchmarks, of which I did about..6-8. After the benchmarks, I returned it to stock speeds, actually a little below as Omega's clocker doesn't get down to the 1.0's and leave enough room for the right adjustments. In other words, most of the time I kept and would rather keep it slightly underclocked than overclocked. I'm into D3D games, not FPS OpenGL type stuff so 1-3 frames gained by overclocking is just not...needed by me.

bucks for shipping. I've got a guy in my sim league, in fact he's the guys that gave me my own server, works like 70 hours a week, computer systems consultant...loaded with cash. He would probably snap it up. I'm fishing around right now. Keep it mind if your interested Euro. I'm either here, over at High Gear, High Gear whenever I'm online. I'll check back in a coupla' days if I hadn't sold it. If I do sell it, I'll "close the thread" so to speak. |

You should maybe let us see your heatware profile or maybe set up a paypal account. Many people now days are smart about what they do online and will not just send over a check or money order without some sort of insurance policy. Paypal provides that.

your bank acount number or other various bits of info that is really none of anyone's business but mine, especially on the world wide web here. Like I stated in my opening, I don't use things like Paypal, or whatever else is out there. If that stops someone from buying my card or anything else from me that's fine. I don't have to get rid of it on here or at all. So that' where I stand. What is a "Heatware" profile? Do you mean Hardware profile? If, I'm not mistaken, you can see my hardware profile in my 3DMark03 score in my sig. I think it's in my sig. If not, I'll post it sometime. Of course that profile is with my 9800 Pro, and not my 9700 Pro, so... whatever...peace...Laterz...
