AXP 2500+ (barton) NF7-s v2.0 256mb ddr400 256mb ddr333

HI all,

Thought i'd give you the chance to buy some of this stuff i'm, clearing out

Athlon XP 2500+ barton (AQXEA 0329 "Y" stepping) = (includes a Coolermaster Aero 7 Lite fan...variable speed - excellent cooler)

Abit NF7-S V2.0, boxed with all cables/disks and manuals = (will include proof of purchase so remainder of warranty is still available should it ever be needed... bought in July 03)

2x128mb Crucial PC3200 memory (CL3)

1x256mb Twinmos PC2700 (CL2.5)

I'm looking to sell it all together, and so £190 inc shipping within the UK seems fair for the lot. Items will be sent when the money (Cheque/Paypal or Nochex) reaches my bank account.

A little background on overclocking...whilst i havent overclocked the system much (its fast enough at stock speeds) i did a little testing and can tell you the 2500+ runs 3200+ (200fsb) completely stable at 1.75v. The NF7-S allows easy overclocking in bios as you have 2 options in the CPU section, 2500+ and 3200+...just select one, up the voltage slightly and your set.
The Twinmos ram runs DDR400 when selecting optimal for the ram speed/timings (which match the ram timings of the crucial sticks CL3 etc). To get the Twinmos completely stable at DDR400 i had to up the voltage 0.1 on my system after that it ran fine - and cool.

So basically your looking at a 3200+ with 512mb ddr 400, an excellent fan and the NF7-s for £200!

(NOTE: The overclocking experience was unique to my system and may be dependant on your case temps/psu etc so i cant guarantee the same overclocks, only that it runs fine at stock. However i see no real reason really that you wouldnt get the same OC - or more).

FluffyChicken is on a distinguished road

For comparison, current prices at Komplett
(all include VAT)
NF7-S v2 = £77
256MB PC2700 TwinMOS = £27
2x128Mb PC3200 Crucial = £38 (@ crucial)
'Barton' 2500+ OEM = £63
Aero7+ = £26

So other than the CPU+HSF they are a bit over priced.
I maybe interested in the CPU without HSF though?

Thanks for checking FC. I've amended the total now... If i dont receive any offers for the whole system i'll consider splitting it up and selling parts soon.
