"I have Corsair XMS PC 3200 Twin Sticks of 512."

Wait, that isn't a gig of ram, it's a total of 512mb right? Thar number comes up as 256mb sticks.
At first I though you were selling two sticks of 512mb (1 gig total) from the wording.
-twin sticks "of 512" sounds like a gig of ram to me. I guess it's just the wording,

edit- I had two sticks of this stuff and it was very solid and fast memory.

Same stuff I think..

I was gonna say, if it was a gig of that kind of ram, selling for $120 is insane- But it's still a pretty good deal for 2 sticks of 512, I had some of that ram as I said and it's very good ram. Ram is very expensive right now too...

They aint BH5. Don't get your hopes up. Hold out and buy some BH5 from a forum like AMDMB.com..... their for sale section is amazing. At least 15 new threads a day.

Yeah but I had good results with those chips, but what you said is exactly why I don't have them anymore- and I got the ram I have now, w/ BH6 chips, they basically will do what the BH5 chips will do. The newer XMS has the CH5's I think, or CH6's or something like that.

The OCZ I have now has been tested at 3.4v and has done 253mhz @ 2-2-2-5, that's pretty amazing.
http://www.pcstats.com/articleview.c...id=1542&page=2

Still if you don't want to do crazy OC'ing, the new XMS 3200 ram will be good for 400mhz with tight timings I guess.
I can't really test my ram out because for some reason my CPU won't run lower multipliers while being overclocked really far, but it will OC fine at default multiplier.. It's unlocked, but I need to figure out hoe to get it working better at lower multipliers, I've heard about doing some kind of mod to the L12 bridge or something, but I'm not sure.
I'll probably just get a mobile Barton and sell this Tbred.
