Even that would be better than nothing, But I guess I'm really looking fro 256mb or 512mb sticks. I built up a PC for her with some spare parts and many new parts, but I only had 2 128mb pc100 sticks..

The Mobo is an old FIC AZ11 will take PC100 or 133 and has 3 slots, so I think I want to go with 512 if possible, but if I can only get 256 sticks, it will have to do.... If I got one 256mb stick it would hold them over until I can get a 512mb stick..
the PC is not a gaming rig, just normal stuff, so ram is what it needs to go fast(er). It has a fast HD, 750mhz Athlon, Kt133- Plenty fast for web surfing and whatnot.. I did put Wolfenstein on there and it ran if very playable though..


If you get some bigger sticks, and shipping isn't too insane, I'll buy. But you're not that far actually- I'm in Buffalo.

well now you tell me I had 2x 256mb cas 2 .... now that i've desposed of (sold) all but

1x 128mb pc133 cas 2 stick

(and the rest I have are various smaller older sticks you wouldn't be interested in.)

Where are you, Canada, US? Paypal is very convenient an easy to use if you have a bank account.

It takes up to three days to confirm your registration and it's free too- The money gets transfered right into your account. You still have to trust the person when you are buying something though, because they can always cancel their bank account and cancel their Paypal account after they get the money- then it's up to you to get the person to pay or straighten it out.

That's why it's good to go through Ebay or something and only buy from people with a long history and good feedback that they want to protect.. You take a bigger risk going it alone, but usually everything works out.. I've never sold anything either, but I've bought online many many times.

Anyway- if you don't have a bank account you have to pay for a pro account to use a credit card at Paypal so it wouldn't be worth it I don't think..

I could use that ram though- that's exactly what I'm looking for, it would work great in my sister's PC I built for her.. Then the next stick I would get would be a 512mb stick, and she could have 512 + 256 + 128 + 128 - that would be plenty.

Depend where you are if it would be worth it too.

Oh ok, I'm in Buffalo NY- so you could ship it to me for really cheap- all you need is an anti-static bag and a box with some packing material (peanuts, paper, etc..) and go to the US Post office or FedEx or UPS or something..

You should get a Paypal account if you have a bank account- It's really easy, all you need is the 'registered' account- and you can send and receive money to anyone with the same kind of account for free.. it's really convenient for e-bay, and stuff like this. You can even open up a separate account just for Paypal use..

There are other ways to pay you, but Paypal is the "safest" I guess you could say.

I've never had a problem w/ on-line trading until I tried to buy some memory from TwistedMetal here a while ago, but he contacted me a couple weeks ago and is going to straighten it out soon I hope.

I'm definitely still looking, so if anyone else has some memory laying around, let me know.. PC-100 or PC-133, doesn't really matter about timing, but lower is always better of course, but it won't be a deciding factor..

I've got a 512MB stick of Kingston Value Ram , PC133. Runs at CAS 2 no problems.

Problem is I live in Taiwan. Willing to make a deal (trade) though. I'll send it to you regular post, may take a month. After you get it (I'm very trusting), you can send me the game Max Payne 2 (can't get it here), just the cd, no box. Send it regular mail, maybe $10 shipping.

Isn't FedEx cheapest to ship to there from USA? That's what the commercials say over here anyway. I've never shipped anything outside of the country, but I could check it out.. It might just be worth it.

I once sent a motherboard , a cpu, graphics card, a sound card and an IDE controller card to Minnesota from here using FedEx. Cost about $75 U.S. all in one box. I'll check it out here for FedEx and DHL. You may be right, and it would beat waiting a month or more!
