FS: Radeon 9800pro for 100$

now now you might be wondering there s got to be a catch well guess what THERE IS!!!

to make my long story short. this 9800pro is a engeneering sample from ATI i got it for free from my friend(his uncle works@ ATI) because it artifacts at stock heatsink wich was a 9700heatsink anyways so i slapped on a VGA silencer and underclocked it to 340/280 and it works fine @ 2xAA and 4xAF(current setting i use) no artifacts t. also this card is my dell so there is no cooling on the memory whatsoever.

note that i can take the core upto 390-400 on the vga silencer without any artifacts at all i just kept it ar 340 just be to be extra safe. if you have any negative comments please keep it to your self.

Price is 100$ without shipping. shipping is 7$ within USA

NOTE: THIS IS "NOT" A 9800se

note only recently i put a VGA silencer on them.

This is the photo before the i put the VGA silencer on it. note this is an engineering sample. here is my control panel if you think that card is a 9800se

all HIGH2xAA 2x AF 48fps @ hl2 stress test. no AA or AF 80fps!

dunno about doomIII but i think it can 1024/768 at medium settings perfectly..

its got a samsung memory. doesnt have any cooling beside or on it. the only cooling the card has is vga silencer!

be better off take a picture of the core with the heat sink off... and a shot of the back of the card....

what the part number on that card? and the numbers off the ram?

it already has a VGA silencer on it. and trust me it r530core with a samsung memory. i will put thenumbers on mem as sooon i get home.

ok as for memory. since i have a webcam the pic would be blurry so i just read it off the card. not sure if its accurate. cant find my camera right now i just took these with my intel webcam.

also this is a raference card or more like card given to reveiwers (reference sample) so i dont think there is a part number though. if it does have it then tell me where i can find it.

I think it's 109-a07500-00a

I did read the entire story and with my r9800 in my aunts dell doesn't get artifacts, Even with vga silencer tho i figured stock speeds should be okay.... hmphhhh

also this is is engineering sample my friend overclocked to hell on the 9700 heatisnk... lol .. yea so the mem got too hot.. so had to underclock it
