I initialy had the computer on a dual boot, one Windows XP, the other Linux,...this was for the CAD work, but since then, have gone to a single boot of XP in hopes the FireGL X1 drivers can be hacked for the 9700pro

I have praticaly every major CAD application installed on the computer and running fine, from 3Ds Max, Maya, Mech Desktop 6, Pro Engineer, Solidworks, Inventor R 5.2, AutoCAD 2002, and more....
But would probably have to get rid of them since they arent legit cept for MechDesktop 6/Acad 2002 if sold

The computer, with the fans on full force, including the Ice cannon runs at a pleasent 90F/ 32c even at full load. With them on a conservative setting (35 decibels about) system runs no hotter than 116F. The 9700pro can go up to 385 core perfectly stable, since I removed the thermal pad and added artic alumina, but the memory wont go above 335 without artifacting, even with the BGA Ramsinks on the card.

The computer is PERFECTLY stable. I have no stutter issues at all, every game and application I use, runs flawlessly.

My 3D Mark 2001SE score is about 12,500..give or take the margin for different times ran.

I may include a 17" Sony Trinitron monitor (.24mm Appeture grille, max res 1280x1024@66hz) model HMD-A200, has a small series of screen scratches on the lower front tho. Only noticeable when the background is white.

Ill try and get some pictures of it up, its quite a sight to see when shes running, with the nice red lighting effects, and sweet look of the chrome trim and apllique designs.

Main reason Im trying to get rid of it unfortunately is my job has required more of a demand from me work wise, and when not at work, Im at college until late, so I rarely can use it unfortunately.

Im trying to get a nice laptop to replace it tho, preferably a Dell laptop that includes the UXGA UltraSharp screen.

Id more than appreciate it, if some people could give me the value about on the system. I priced how much all the parts would be from NewEgg new, and it came out to be around $2,300. Tho thats new with brand new parts, which these obviously arent.

Thanks

Holy Batspit!

That is one seriously nice looking rig that would be a great deal for anyone at $2300 methinks! It'd sure blow the doors off of anything you could get from Dell/Gateway for that kind of dosh! If'n I had the cash and wasn't such a born-again, "I build me systems meself" kind of guy I would be making you an offer! Best of luck, you're gonna make someone a very happy geek!
