    Hey,

    So i've upgraded from a X-fi to a Z Series.

But the BASS Redirection does nothing, I used to use it with the X-Fi as to reduce the BASS as I live in a flat.

I always had it set to 120Hz but I can move the slider from 10hz to 1000hz and nothing changes...

The 5.1 Speakers are the same from the X-fi to the Z

Has anyone seen this or know how to fix this?

Does the same thing happen with the original Creative drivers?

One option to try is to uncheck the subwoofer in the Speakers/Headphones section. Unchecking it here will allow you to enable the Bass function in the SBX Pro Studio section, and along with the same Crossover slider you also get the addition of the bass level slider (with options ranging from 10 to 100%).

Does creative actually do dts decoding better than dolby (fault in their hardware or their drivers).... because otherwise, robert, that statement is incorrect, specially if it's lossless source.
