Hi. Have you tried having a trusted friend online? To the point that you can share everything about your life?

I have.quite a few trusted friends online, we game together, we talk a lot and we share everything with each other. It is not a totally foreign concept to me. :)

I have been burned more by "offline" friends than by online.
As long as you have set the bar very low, you will be fine with either.

I have a few friends online, usually friends i met while playing online games. I can talk to them almost about anything, but not much about my personal life

I don't talk about my personal life with ALL my online friends, of course as friends go I am closer to some than others, I do have a handful that I can trust with personal stuff though.

As my mother always used to say, when you "grow up", you will find that the actual true friends you have you will be able to count on one hand.

I have found that, if anything "personal" ever gets discussed, it's no longer personal. Just like if you tell someone a "secret" it's no longer a secret. :)

    yes
there’s not a lot of difference at all when you break it right down frankly.
but I guess it could also depend on your definition of what friendship actually is

I got burned by some online people that's why I am very careful in trusting who continues to probe my life. I learned my lesson well and I am recommending this article in case you want to lessen your "online friends". Of course, only those who are not doing you any good at all.

doesn't matter if it's real life or online..... they all equally have the same level of trust and variables that apply.
