    Hi,
I just installed v2.15 of the drivers.

Sound card is all working as it should. Exceeeept...

When I launch the Creative Audio Control Panel or the Console, I get these messages:

Audio Control Panel: "The audio device supported by this application is not detected. The application will exit."

Console Launcher: "There are no supported audio device available. You need to close the application. Click OK to close the application now."

Any suggestions as to a fix? I'd love to get this all working properly!

I'm running an SB X-Fi Platinum (Fatalaty Edition), with a front bay, on Windows 7 x64.

    Thanks,
    Dan

    Thanks, that fixed it!
Any chance of including the THX console in the next release?
    It's dead handy.

ZOMG, you are a complete and total GENIUS !!! I used to have Creative Console Launcher installed up until very recently, but I had to re-install my OS (windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit), and I have been totally unable to install it since then. I have quite literally been banging heads against the wall for about two weeks now. Creative's support not only sucks, it is non-existent - no real phone # , and the website is so slow as to be completely worthless. I did manage to get them on the phone once, and they brushed me off! But, your PAX console launcher installer worked beautifully !!! THANK YOU SO MUCH !!!

So does the Audigy 2 Platinum support the Creative Console Launcher ???

If not then I will be looking to update my sound card to an X-Fi model then ;)

I had to remove the PAX drivers, failing again with the latest driver build during audio playback :(

I removed them and all the apps and used Driver Cleaner to remove the remnants and then rebooted.

I downloaded and installed the latest Creative drivers and they seem to work.

Strange that my X-Fi Platinum Fatalaty doesn't have this issue nor any audio dropouts either...

I'm looking at the X-Fi Titanium package, I think I noticed it for $139.00 at Newegg vs. Frys at $199.00 :)

Robert, when I get my new X-Fi card, would you want my old Audigy 2 Platinum ???

Seems you are always looking to borrow your brothers card for testing purposes ;)

    Hello, Robert.

I registered on these forums in order to say, "thank you". Your Console Launcher ended an hour of driver struggling for me and restored access to my rear speakers. So, if nothing else today, you did good for someone you'll never meet. Again, thanks.

    Hi Robert,
I installed the latest driver v1.10 and the latest suite v1.60 but I get the same problem.
When I start Console Launcher, the error says "There are no supported audio device available". When I start Control Panel, it says "The audio device supported by this application is not detected".
Can you HELP me plz!!! Thx in advance.

Did you check for error on hard drive before installing driver and suite?
