No, I have not purchased a device. I want to know whether it can be installed in Windows 7 x64.

I can download a disk image if needed.

    If it helps:

Windows Vista (before Service Pack 1) had an build in driver for 32 and 64 bit, that got all to work except the 2 midi ports.

With SP1 and up the driver didn't work anylonger for this device (Code 10).

If its possible to extract all driver files and the associated signature, it could be possible to make a working standalone driver out of it.

    Hardware ID is:

    "USB\VID_041E&PID_3000&MI_00\7&13dee51c&0&0000"

    File list:

The ISO images are still available in MSDN and an Archive site. For the x64 ISO I could provide a link via PM if needed.

    EDIT:

Got it to work in a Virtual Box running Windows Vista x64. The sound is like in a virtual maschine. But its working

I've tried different Driver Backup tools. But they were unable to restore them in Windows 10 because of missing signature.

    Any hint what to do?

When connected to a devicre running Windows 10 the standard driver sucessfull get installed. It just can not start (Code 10).

I've found a possible reason for the issue:

"It seems that generic USB audio devices that worked perfectly in XP have this problem in Vista (from what I've been reading around) and Windows 7 from my personal experience.
I think this is because of the DRM reinforcement in the new versions of usbaudio.sys

The only solution I see is to get an updated file like Vista users got that doesn't reinforce DRM on devices that do not support it."
