Instagram is now back online after an outage locked thousands of its users out of the social media application all over the world. Over 30,000 Instagram users reported that they were experiencing outages of the social media application, according to the outage monitoring website DownDetector.com.

The San Francisco-based social media company said that they are aware of the outages, which are being experienced in the SF Bay Area, Southern California and the Northeast.

"We're aware that some users are having trouble accessing their Instagram accounts," reads a tweet from the company's official Twitter account. "We know it's frustrating, and we're working quickly to fix the issue!"

Instagram users also experienced outages outside of the U.S., in the United Kingdom, Brazil and Italy, according to DownDetector.
