    they are really really pushing this intel x99 chipset and ddr4 now... guess we are technically a little late on the ddr4 movie....


    I wonder how many of the x79 buyers and the 49xx cpu owners are going to be bummed when the 5xxx cpus arrive with 8 core standard (though frankly i'm a bit disappointed they haven't offered a 12 or 16 core variant yet)

    Said the Crucial marketing department. Personally I doubt that DDR4 will have much effect on game performance at all.

    I also doubt it has any effect at all on FPS worth noting too..


    but then again maybe they are talking about it's implementation on graphics cards or for use in shared memory cases which might make sense.

    Very much game dependant. Some games just dont care about MHz, others do. Always nice to have new shiny stuff though :D
