It's could be anniversary update issue for Windows 10
you try another slot or how long ago did have fresh os reformatted?
the card is install by fresh os reformatted
just one day....and the Day 2 will get the problem
Sounds like card could be going time move to z serves =)
So just to be clear, there's not a pax pci xfi driver that works without any issue and without installing the creative driver for windows 10 right now ?
You're perfectly right! Use original Creative drivers 2.30.0011 instead...
Hi, i have one problem and one question:
1 (problem) - "what you hear" not work at all with windows7 64bit + Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeGamer
driver is your,
PAX MASTER PCI XFI Driver Suite 2015V 1.15 ALL OS Stable Drivers Default Tweak Edition
actually "what you hear" sometimes work, sometimes not.. i just can't find way to stabilize work sessions. Something is broken inside drivers, i choose as record device "what you hear" but when i record from soundforge or similar programs, i get nothing! When i start playin' with options and sb mode (game, audio creation and entertainment) sometimes big crack come from speakers and "what you hear" start working, but after restart or next day, not work again... CAN WE SOMEHOW FIX THAT ONCE AND FOR ALL?
2 (question) I have Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeGamer.. What is best driver to use?
c) what you think?
I have a Creative SB X-Fi Xtreme Gamer Fatal1ty Pro card which I would like to continue to use under Windows 10.
I uninstalled every creative software/driver then restarted the system with the driver signing enforcement turned off, and then installed the package. It all went down without any errors. After restarting it offered auto update. I guess it downloaded the official driver and then the sound worked finally.
But Creative Console won't lunch, can't enable CMSS-3D, crystalizer and the center speaker is numb.
Is there a way to make it work or will there be a fix for old cards like this?
I would really love to carry on using this config. If there will be an update in the coming months I will keep on using Windows 10 until then.
I think I know why people are having problems with Windows 10 and your drivers, Robert - see this link:- http://www.audacityteam.org/download/windows/#sysreq
To me this suggests that because your PAX drivers are not signed, they will not function 100% with Windows 10.
After installing the PAX suite, I have had to manually install Creative's drivers for full functionality in Windows 10 - ie: for some sound applications to recognise audio devices.
As you probably already know, I am more than willing to test drivers for you - but I think your drivers must be signed for full operation under Windows 10.
Ya There no way around that part .
So, does the console on original drivers from Creative works fine on latest W10 builds?
I am using windows10, i can't open Console Launcher or Audio Control Panel, sorry for my english
Robert, you are the best!
I followed these steps:
and everything works fine. Even Console Launcher.
Again, great thanks!
PS. Sometimes icons in console disapearing (Speaker: xx, X-Fi Crystalizer, EQ) and then funtions cannot be accesible. But after restarting console, everything works fine.
edit. now everything's good.
If somebody needs "What U Hear" device recording, just disable microphone, and other active recording devices in control panel.
Build: 14393 (x64)
edit. Console reverts to default after restart of the computer....
//again... after restarting computer, it saves console state.
Tried the above method exactly, but when trying to install pax driver through device manager, it either tells me that I already have the newest driver installed, or that I am trying to install a driver that might have been tampered with. Any ideas?
They're going to sometime in the future, new drivers, or you can Risto that these and previous versions are already very last?
Did you try changing the date in the inf ? and save it?
