can't see your FB page as I'm not on your list so can't see the first pic

That second one looks like it's a power receptacle for a SATA power connector - maybe a fan controller or lighting?

I'm with dj_stick on this... If you could give us the EXACT make/model of the case, we'd be able to confirm. Considering it's 3 wires out of the SATA connector.. and that you have 3x fan headers... it's likely pwm from the sata power (though i'm not sure why'd they'd only provide 3 pin fan headers as the 3rd pin is for sensor which would be completely useless). It could also provide power to the lights or other functions of the case for other non essentials. I tend to avoid using included case controllers and such however... would rather run everything direct to the mainboard headers and use the mainboards own solution to do the work.

I can't see your facebook page as I don't have facebook.
I assume the PC case you are using is the Coolermaster Mastercase 5 Pro, as that is the one used in the techreport page you linked.
The last connector, for the life of me I can't remember what it is. I know 100% I have seen it before, but right now I can't remember.
So, I wasn't that helpful. Sorry.
If I remember I will let you know.

I also have a very quick question.
I am automatically subscribed to this thread, you replied 3 times but I did not get any notifications.
Is there a certain time of the day to receive them?

    Hello again,

Here is my update, thank you very much for the input again.

    @all: below is the build:

I built the second system from linked page called The Work & Play with case Fractal Design Define R5

    http://pin.it/M6cnm0q

The only page that says about these free connectors is this:

    http://pin.it/PxvGGlx

The connectors (cables) come from the top of the case:

    https://www.pinterest.com/pin/510666045239516611/

Front I/O Cables shown in Fractal Design Define R5 manual:

    http://pin.it/c27Fj5Q

I connected my water cooler and 2 case fans direct to mobo and I can access them independently and set with Fan Master utility.
The manual screenshot shows 3 position switch that is present as marked with blue dot.
    How would I use that?

Let me know what do you think. Thanks!

I have that case. The longer one is a SATA power connector, while the 2 shorter ones are headers for connecting more fans. These days power supplies may only come with 1 or 2 Molex connectors, some even have none, but they do come with plenty of SATA power connectors. Fractal is using that connector type instead to power any extra fans you want to hook up to your case.

But... I'd have to crack open my case to see if the 2 fans the case comes with require it though. I'll get back to you on that.

Thanks for quick reply. I hooked up 2 case fans directly to mobo.
So if I connected power via SATA connector , I could plug in extra fans that would be powered from the case?
I am just a newbie here.
Putting system together is like Lego blocks on maybe a bit higher level but if one wanted to really learn, he/she would have to do it on a constant basis.
I built my older system like 3 years ago and so much happened since then.... :)

Ahh as Tipstaff said, extra fan power if you’ve added more

They would be powered directly from the power supply, but the fan speeds would be controlled by the switch. The thing to remember is that both fans would run at the same speed as the switch controls both fans.

Ha, ha, thank you very much. It is amazing how much one can learn by asking silly questions.

Good people is important thing for sure and food, well I need to shed few pounds but strong will power is not my best asset. ;-)

Thank you again, I will ask, there are tons of questions, just not enough time mostly.
