Many years ago when I had my construction/remodeling business, I did some work for a couple of Arby's in our area that were doing some remodeling.

Well, it was Arby's again this evening. On my last visit they gave me a coupon for a future visit. This was for a new sandwich, the Deep Fried Turkey Sandwich. And, with the purchase of the sandwich you get small fries and a small drink for free. (But, they did let me go with a large drink at no extra charge. :) I am, after all, a valued customer. :D ) And, there are two flavors of the sandwich, The Deep Fried Turkey Club, and the Deep Fried Cajun. I went with the Cajun....which has onion rings included on the sandwich. I skipped the Apple Turnover this time. The meal, with the coupon, was just $5.42. :)

There's a restaurant that use to be called, Po'Folks. It's now Folks' Kitchen. They have a special menu that is more than I could ever eat at one sitting....maybe even TWO!

Tonight, I got the 2-piece Fried Chicken [Drumstick and Thigh]; Squash Casserole; Fried Green Tomatoes; and Peach Muffin. The dinner menu also includes an appetizer and dessert. For those I got the Onion Petals and then the Fried Apple Pie with Ice Cream. And, of course, the Diet Coke! :) This entire dinner came to a grand total of $11.21 USD. [Plus a TIPS]

AND, there is also a Complimentary Bean Bar! I got a small bowl of Black-eyed Peas to begin with. :)

Spaghetti with lactose free feta cheese, minced beef, Greek salad, fresh bread.
It was good, I didn't manage to finish it all, but it was good.

While in Florida, we went to a place called, Gator's Cafe on the Beach. I got this dish called, Peel n Eat Shrimp. As the side I got fries. Both items were simply delicious! And, those fries are probably among the top 5 I've ever eaten. I rarely eat ALL the fries but I did with this. And, the shrimp was the best!

For lunch today, I went to Mi Casa nearby. It's one of my very favorite Mexican restaurants in the area to visit. This is my usual dish...and the one they usually already know I'm going to order when I walk in the door. :) Fajita Taco Salad w/Chicken. I use a LOT of Salsa on it. ;)

Pork souvlaki (x3), and the rest.
Also (not in the photo) χτυπητή which is spicy soft cheese, and a can of Pepsi.

I tried doing Chef Gordon Ramsay's famous burger patty and for some reason, It didn't taste or looked as good as it is in his video. What a shame! The smell is so good though! :D

Google says that it's something like (or the same as) tirokafteri, in which case I've tried it and it's a great side dish/appetizer. :)

The pizza I had last night, Porketta from a place called Pizza Bar: strips of wonderfully seasoned pork, fresh tomato, red onion, parsley and dressing on Chicago style dough. I guess the Italians wouldn't call the result pizza, but it's incredibly tasty! :)

Yes, the two names are interchangeable even though there are slight differences. Most people can't tell the difference anyway. :) I Love it, especially in a pita with gyros.

Man that pizza looks nice, apart from onion, I don't like onion in pizza. It's very hard to find a great pizza here nowdays, it's like they have all forgotten how to make one. :(

I'll take everything on the plate please, minus the bacon. I'm not a big fan of meat. In fact, I prefer veggies to meat. Especially mushrooms. Because they taste like meat or can be prepared to taste like meat but are not only much better for you, but to me, are more appetizing.

Meat is good for you too. Humans eat everything, not just vegetables. We are not cows.
