I just watched the BD version of "John Wick" starring Keanu Reaves. It's quite an intense "revenge" movie if you want to see a lot of physical carnage on the screen.

I watched John Wick last year. I had lots of fun with it. A great role for KR.

I watched about 1/3 of Django Unchained last week. I hope to watch the rest of it soon. Technically it's great, but I can't say I am having a strong desire to continue watching it. Weird.

Just went through a weekend of Expendables. If I can pull myself away from The Division I'll probably watch Mocking Jay Pt.2. tonight

I've been binge watching "Once upon a Time" so basically haven't seen any movies in a while, I think the last movie I saw was the latest Ip Man movie a couple weeks ago, which I rather enjoyed.

I've also seen John Wick and I rather enjoyed both it and The Equalizer which is quite similar.

I've actually watched a fair portion of Once Upon a Time and have enjoyed seeing how they intertwine the many fairy tale stories in this series. I need to get back to it before I forget what's happened in the previous episodes. ;)

The sequel to John Wick is due out this coming February...with possible others to follow:

Oh god yeah that movie is absolutely savage, not the easiest thing to watch but it's so good.

Towards the ends it becomes the most tarantino thing that tarantino has ever made

I have watched the Captain America: Civil War Civil War. It is a 2016 American superhero film featuring the Marvel Comics hero. A combination of humor, drama and action. So far, a great battle between superheroes.

I watched The Thing (Carpenter's) on BR for the first time (BR first time, not the movie in general).
I have watched the movie a few times so there are no scary moments for me, but I have to say after all these years the cinematography remains among the best.

Cinematography has come a long, long way since 1951. "Marshall Matt Dillon", James Arness, starred in the original. You can actually watch the movie via streaming from here...

Last night I watched The Cargo. A German sci-fi movie about a spaceship having a resupply run on a distant outpost, long after Earth is not habitable. The human population lives either onboard a huge orbiting city above Earth, or on a colony, a "new Earth".
I can't say anything else about the story as that will ruin it for anyone who hasn't watched it.
Very good acting, very good production, although there are small parts here and there which show the limited budget (compared to a Hollywood production). Special and visual effects were good for 95% of the time. The story....well the story is nothing shocking to anyone who loves sci-fi. The only issues I had with the movie are a couple of things that take place which you really really need to switch off your brain to accept as even remotely plausible.
I will mention one now, don't read it if you haven't watched the movie.
When she uses all the fuel she has in what appears one thrust to throw herself towards the moving spaceship from a distance of at least a few miles and she manages to "hit" dead center the tiny door without any help from any computer....no just no. That's just lazy either in writing or in directing. Just...no.

I just finished watching The Signal. .... I can't say anything cause anything will ruin the experience.
Did I like it? something just didn't do it for me.
Glad to have watched it, but that's about it.
