    Starship Troopers : Invasion

Doing a run through of all the films.. except #2. Hated that film. Next up is Traitor of Mars, then the Roughneck TV series.

Yeah, that was my view too. The first is of course great for what it is, the second is my favorite, there was no third, the fourth was ok. Prometheus I liked, but this Covenant is for me very close to reaching Aliens. It has horror, it has action, it has space adventure, it has philosophy, it has everything. :)

I haven't seen invasion yet, I think I bought it but I don't remember, but I haven't see it yet. The first is easily my favorite, there was no second, the third was good enough IMO, partly because I love Jolene Blalock

Saw "War of the planet of the apes" last night. In my opinion the best of the three new movies.

Few days ago I watched The Day The Earth Stood Still, the 2008 version with Keanu Reeves.
I didn't like it. I am going to start a new thread about it as I don't want to spoil anything here.

Just watched Realive, very very good movie. It poses some very interesting questions about life in general and then goes on to answer some of them in it's own way, it is definitely food for thought. The ending is also extremely cool. They ended the movie on a lovely cliff hanger.

Just watched Geostorm, very very good, and I have to say, it was a movie that made me feel the joy they felt, the emotions, first movie to do that for me in a while. Highly recommended.

Just finished watching Kingsman: The Golden Circle and I rather enjoyed it even though it had a slow start. It took two or three sittings to finish it off.

Just watched Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets and even though it had a good ending, I somewhat felt that they didn't deliver enough. Whether it was enough action, sci fi, or fantasy, it just felt....lacking at the end of the movie. When it was over I was like "It's over?", that said, it isn't really a bad flick, you should check it out if you get the chance.

Yeah, I saw it too a few days ago and after it finished my feeling was kinda "Meh"

I wasn't a Valerian-fan beforehand, even though I've been an SF fan my entire life I'd actually never heard of it until the movie was announced. I don't know what the fans think about it but had I been a fan I would have been extremely disappointed. One of Bessons worst in my opinion.

I haven't seen it yet, perhaps some time in 2018 as I doubt I will be buying anything any time soon. I did like the trailer and I like the visuals style of Luc's movies. So it is not a matter of if I am going to watch it, just of when.

I watched earlier yesterday the 2004 film Along came Polly. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0343135/
It's basically a romcom but seriously one that isn't either too sweet or too unbelievable. Don't get me wrong, there are several extreme scenes but, they just feel right. Most important of all, the story, it feels kind of realistic, if it makes sense.
As for the comedy part, I laughed a lot. It's not the best comedy out there but, it's a solid one. The type you don't mind watching again when it comes up on TV.
