We have been beavering away behind the scenes for our review due for publication very shortly, however in the interim Intel suggested that we open up a Q&A session and the end result is that some of our public had direct access to the boffins at Intel HQ. Think of this as a taster of what is to come from Driver Heaven next week....

Is their a 2nd page or does it just stop? You didnt kill the guy mid interview did you? I was expecting the usual thanks for coming looking forward to the product type end LOL.

Some interesting stuff, looks like i'll be putting off my yearly pc spruce up until I've seen some performance figures. I loved this bit.

Are Intel bringing out any dual CPU Nehalem systems like Skulltrail? - Eric, Sweden
This is currently being looked at internally, but we dont comment on unannounced products.

So thats a yes then.

They will basically release a server version which has a good chance of becoming a multi-socket motherboard too. The step to an CF/SLI gamer board isn't really big since the x58 boards do already support these functions.

The server version is currently postponed (afaik) because of the TLB bug.
