In the system component marketplace few areas are more crowded than cases with hundreds of manufacturers across the globe competing for consumers. It therefore takes a brave company to try and enter this area, even more so for one to take on some of the big players however that is exactly what LEPA, a division of CoolerGiant Computers and sister company of Enermax, hope to achieve with the LPC302 Series of cases.
Packaging and Bundle
LEPA package the LPC302 Series cases in a box which very much plays on the big cat theme, showing leopard spots at the base and the company cat head logo near the top. A clear image of the case is also shown and inside we find it suspended in foam and wrapped in a protective bag.
Bundled with the case we get a basic manual, and all the screws required to build a system in the chassis. There are also wiring ties/holders and a speaker for those motherboards which do not have one built on.
There was a time a few years ago that Hi-Fi/AMP like HTPC cases were everywhere. That has changed a bit in recent times due to some excellent m-ATX boards allowing builds in compact chassis however there is still something about the home theatre component style of design which can be appealing...
