ACER Revo Mini PC Review
ACER Revo Mini PC (RL100) Review
A few years ago it seemed that netbooks would become the next big thing as their compact size mixed with performance powered by the likes of Atom and Ion combinations offered a great mix of features. In the end though it seems that all netbooks served to do was prove to people that they needed a portable device with a decent sized screen and so tablets have gone from strength to strength. Their much more manageable form factor and input style along with ever evolving specifications and performance seems to be a winner for consumers and rarely now do we see excitement about new netbooks.
While the netbook form factor may be on the decline the hardware inside has other uses, for example it is easy to build a feature packed compact system for general computing and media use. That is something Acer has tried to achieve, in a stylish and somewhat unique way with the Revo mini PC. Today we have an Acer Revo on our test bench to find out what it can offer to set itself apart from other compact systems.
