Far Cry 2

Far Cry 2 was tested at 2560×1600, all in game settings were at their highest level and anti-aliasing was set to 0x/8x. Setting the game detail to its highest level enables in game anisotropic filtering.

When playing Far Cry 2 at 2560×1600 with no anti-aliasing many of the configurations we tested provided excellent performance. A particular highlight is the GTX 295 which achieves an average framerate of 105 frames per second … unfortunately the same praise cannot be given when we enable 8x anti-aliasing. With that setting enabled every one of the cards suffers a large drop in performance, some much more than expected. The Quad SLI and CrossFireX performance being two sets of results which come as a great surprise.
