Introduction

It seems like only yesterday we were covering the last Radeon launch but in fact it has been a whole 5 days. That’s right, ATI are back with yet another 5000 series launch less than a week after the last. This time it is the 5570 reaching the market, a model which fills the gap between 5450 and 5670 giving ATI eight DirectX 11 cards in their product catalogue (5450, 5570, 5670, 5750, 5770, 5850, 5870, 5970) which prices ranging from £35/$43 to £530/$650.

Today we will be taking a look at Sapphire’s 5570 to see where the new GPU fits into the market in a selection of real world gaming tests, GPU computing tasks and high definition playback. In addition to this we will also take a look back at two other products in the value area, the XFX 5670 and HIS 5450 to ensure that consumers have a clear view of which card best suits their needs in the low cost market.
