Crysis 2 – DirectX 10

One of the most eagerly anticipated titles of 2011, Crysis 2 promises a great single player campaign, first class visuals and an in depth multi-player mode. Our testing is based on the final version of the game rather than the multi-player demo.

Testing was performed at 1280×768 and high in game settings.

The 6450 is designed as an ideal upgrade for those who are looking to upgrade from an on-board GPU but before we look at the benefits of that it is worth taking a look at how the card performs in a few of the latest releases, starting with Crysis 2.

In this test the 6450 performs well at 1280×768 with high settings. Some users may want to tweak further but overall the gameplay was ok in this game, surprisingly so for such a low cost card.

Here is how the game looks at our tested settings.
