In these tests we see that the excellent Z68 Fatal1ty Gen 3 from ASRock combines with the i7-2600K to offer two areas where speeds are improved by using the Intel Platform. SATA and PCIe performance, though this doesn’t take into account multiple GPU use where AMD would have the edge thanks to their dual 16x architecture. On USB speeds the two platforms offer near identical performance.
