NVidia Reinstall problem??

I was having video card issues with Nvidia 7300LE. Used driver cleaner and cleaned all nvidia files. Tried reinstalling the drivers and am unable. Running Vista Home Premium. When I run any versions of install I get this message: The NVIDIA setup program could not locate any drivers that are compatible with your current hardware. Setup will now exit.
???What did I erase???
Any tips are greatly appreciated. I would like to get the features back and possibly try to see if the video card will work properly.

Thanks,
Kevin

Re:

I fixed my problem. I found this link/info. http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/forum/...showtopic=9243 I used a modified INF re: the above info. I got my drivers installed and the video card seems to have all features. I am not crashing anymore either. I was previously crashing anytime I ran a video. Hope this info helps someone. I don't totally understand what I did, but it seems to work.

Hi,

thank you for telling. It is indeed possible that you need modified inf files to install newer drivers, because most times ATI, nVidia and other companies stop supporting older cards.
