Unable to use DriverCleaner

Hi, I have a unusual problem in that I cannot use DriverCleaner because I cannot boot up in safe mode. I press f8, get to the screen to choose, it starts to boot up then the screen goes blank and the computer resets. I've tried all 3 safe mode choices and the result is exactly the same. Now the silly question, is it possible to use DriverCleaner not in safe mode? or has anyone got any ideas as to my problem?

Hi,

yes Driver Cleaner can be used in normal windows.

best to do then is uninstall the drivers. Then when it asks to reboot cancel that if you can and then run Driver Cleaner. Then reboot.

Thanks I'll give it a try, I take it I can also use cab cleaner as well, however, I'll have to wait a day or two because my x1950 pro proved to be faulty so I'm waiting for a replacement .

Yes you can use Cab Cleaner also.

Hope you have more luck with the next card and that it is not faulty.

Worked perfectly, thanks. Sorry I did not reply quicker but my replacement graphics card also proved to be a dud, back to my x800 pro.
