Happens as soon as I start the program after installing. Have tried to download the latest .net framework and it said its incompatible with the version I have. Any help?

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

You need netframe 1.0 and 2.0 and 3.5 I hope that helps you need all netframe please check your windows updated that should make your program work I have no issue with my driver cleaner I have all netframes. I'm sure Spike would stay the same thing.

Checkout this post http://www.hardwareheaven.com/driver-c...ath-found.html there was somebody with the same error and we solved that. I think that could also solve it for you. Just read the last post and let me know it that solves it.

For my program only .NET Framework 2.0 or higher is needed.

Who knew one little backslash could be so naughty. That fixed it. Thanks everyone!

Solution:

Through the great service and support we solved the problem. Here is the solution for future peeps who maybe will have this problem:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion

The "ProgramFilesDir" and "CommonFilesDir" must have the correct setting. It must be a setting like:

example for CommonFilesDir: "D:\Common Files"

example for ProgramFilesDir: "D:\" or "C:\Program files"

My mistake was that I change my pre xp installation cd ProgramFilesDir setting in "D:" with out the " \ " !!! Its important that you use the " \ " even if you havent specified a default directory ^^

Thanks again for the great support and service !

Just as a heads up. If your default installation directory is set to something like D: but with no \ and you put the \ in, normal programs will try to install to D:\\[Program Name] instead of D:\[Program Name]. In other words you will probably need to change it back when you are done to install programs normally.
