Advice needed before I wreck something
I have an ASUS A8N-E Motherboard with includes an NVidia Chipset. Up until a few days ago I also had an NVidia 7300GS video card. The video card was dying so I decided to upgrade it. The salesmen encouraged the ATI HD 8650 Card which I purchased. So I uninstalled (via control panel) the NVidia Display Drivers, rebooted, installed the new video card, and installed the accompaning drivers. I had a few error messages (zero display error) but eventually the CCC of the ATI software seemed to install fine. However, occasionally I'm getting wierd little glitches like movies freezing, and slow responses. ANyway, after doing some research it seems like the problem is with residual NVideo display drivers still on the system. Enter DriverCleaner.NET.
I want to run the Cleaner to completely rid my system of the old NVIDIA display drivers but I don't want to accidentally wipe out my (still needed) NVidia Chipset drivers. Rather than experimenting around, I thought I would use the expertise of the group in what settings I should be using when running Cleaner. |

Only use the filter nVidia, that is for the nvidia display driver only.
