Just a quick question.
Installed the new nVidia BETA GeForce Release 185 drivers, and before installing them, I made sure to use DH Driver Cleaner. Of course I followed all the instructions properly. However, one thing I was unsure about was, when running the Cab Cleaner, two .cab files came up; The first being Driver.cab and the other SP3.cab Since I was unsure of what SP3.cab was, I didn't have Cab Cleaner clean it and only ran it on Driver.cab I'm wondering If I was supposed to clean both. I didn't because I figured SP3.cab was a file related to Service Pack 3 and didn't want to cause any problems. If someone could give me an answer, I'd like to know. If I was supposed to clean both, I will just repeat the Driver Cleaner process and reinstall the drivers as there does seem to be a bit of system instability now. Thanx |

Re: Running Cab Cleaner Correctly?
I don't know if SP3 includes any graphics drivers, but in general I would only use the Cab Cleaner part when there's any actual problem showing that might make that necessary.

Re: Running Cab Cleaner Correctly?
sp3.cab is the cab file what you have if you have XP's SP3 installed and it contains some drivers as mkk said.

Re: Running Cab Cleaner Correctly?
Hi,
the sp3 cab is best to clean so that you are sure there are no ati or nvidia drivers in there.
