Cab Cleaner
I kinda understand the purpose.
(1) Should you use it before or after you use the cleaning filters? (2) What is the difference between Driver.cab, and SP3.cab? Also, which do you use? |

Re: Cab Cleaner
Best is to use it before you use the cleaning filter, but you only need to use it 1 time, so the next time you don't need to use it again.
Driver.cab is the file that came with XP original and the SP*.cab files are added by the service packs. Use Cab Cleaner on all of them.

Re: Cab Cleaner
So use cab cleaner first removing the driver.cab, then sp3.cab. And then use the different filters. Do I have to un-install the driver and do all that stuff first like you were going to use the different cleaning filters or just use cab cleaner before anything?

Re: Cab Cleaner
When using Driver Cleaner do I HAVE to empty the recycle bin? The reason I am asking is that I use Undelete from Diskeeper Corp.

Re: Cab Cleaner
It is not really needed but advisable to do. So you can skip that if you want.
