can't install ati drivers after drivecleaner.net! help please

Hi

i can not install ati drivers
i have an ati hd 5000 serie and windows 7 32bit
i download from here ATI Catalyst? Display Driver

before install it , i uninstall the old version via control panel
boot in safe mode and run Driver Cleaner.NET and cleaned the old files ok

reboot click on the installer and during the install ,it gives me an error
""the INF file was not found."
the installer doesn't block , it continue and finish
it doesn't ask to reboot and it doesn't install the drivers

i tried to go in the device menager and uninstall from here
reboot , uninstall my ati drivers , safe mode , drivecleaner doesn't find any ati related files or keys

nothing
ii doesn't want to install ati drivers
i tried older version too ,but nothing

the only way is to go in device manager , install the ati drivers and stop it
click on my video card install drivers from C:\ati
and it seem to work

but i would like to fix this problem

my friend has the same issue with an ati hd3400

please help

Hi,

Did you update Driver Cleaner.NET with the live update?

this problem happens sometimes with ATI drivers, but it also happens to people without using Driver Cleaner.

What you can try to fix is goto the device manager and install the videocard driver through there, by right clicking in the hardware and selecting install driver or update driver and then point to the inf file of the driver and see if that works.

yes i update driver clenaer.net
i did it , installed with device manager

but is there a way to let to fix ati drivers installer ?
i mean regkey or files to edit , to let the ati drivers installer work again

Can you send me the log files from the Driver Cleaner.net log folder and mail it to info at drivercleaner dot net

If you cant fully install/uninstal you could try to remove the drivers and CCC with windows install cleanup, I used it in the past and its worked great.
This is an official MS program but they have removed it from there site because theyve found its been known to remove inportant system files so its up to you if you use it.
To use it install the AMD CCC package as far as it will go before giving an error then use install cleanup.
