Power Saving Mode Black Screen after Drivercleaner

I own a Dell XPS 720 running Vista and use it as a gaming platform.Everything was working pretty well but I wanted to clean things up. I purchased and ran Drivercleaner.net to clean up my dual Nvidia GeForce 8800 GTX OC video cards. Upon restart ... my screen now appears black and it says "Entering Power saving mode"
after which the green power-light on the monitor changes to amber. When I try to wake it up again, by either pressing keys or moving the mouse, nothing happens. My problem now ... is that I can do very little to fix this as the monitor screen is powered but black.I must have accidently deleted my Nvidia drivers v285.62.

Any help with this ... PLEASE

Re: Power Saving Mode Black Screen after Drivercleaner

Did you follow the instructions and uninstall the drivers first? if not then the drivers are indeed deleted. You need to goto safe mode and then uninstall the drivers if they are in the add/remove programs and then reinstall them.
