I just bought this bad boy as well. Been using the old pro version for ages with great results, so I thought I'd help you support your work buy purchasing a copy.

A question though. Since I just bought it, the version I'm using is DriverCleanerDOTNet 3.0. I've seen mention of a Platinum version though. Is that a newer or older version of what I've just purchased? I didn't see any references to a Platinum version on the purchasing pages I used to buy my copy, so I assumed it was an older version with a different name.

The platinum version is older. The .NET version has just been released on 4-12-06

Will my old version of dc platinum keep getting updates, or must I upgrade to net?

ps I would rather not update, as I like the skin I made for pe!

the Platinum edition will keep getting updates for at least 6 months.

Hi,

the skin for the .net version can't be changed. I did this because it now will use the themes in windows so like in Vista it will use that theme.

Darn, that was the feature that I liked the best about pe. Oh well as long as it does the job!

To be honest, I hated the ugly purple skin of DC Platinum and there were never any more to choose from. Glad to see you're back to basics with the new design, much cleaner. Also disappointed I cannot upgrade to DC .NET with my somewhat-recent DC Platinum buy. Oh well. I suppose DC will always rock, no matter the 'flavor.' Very solid, useful app.
