DK-1 is on a distinguished road

Lex,

Are you planning on updating any of your great DSP synths, like your analog or accoustic drums, or your Analog Synth. I think those are some great additions to kx and would love to use them with latest version of drivers.

Thanks,

DK-1

I'd love to see new parameters on it! Also, I'd love to see the hammond organ and the analog synth running from within the vst environment, but kX powered!!!!

I'm not sure what you mean exactly but;
The Hammond, Asynth and Analog DrumMachine are DSP-Plugins
and will be compiled for 3538L or 3539 if I get to it.
I doubt I'll make pseudo-VST plugin versions of them but who knows...

The Acoustic Drumkit is a 100% VST-plugin, compatible with all kX driver versions (iirc).
Not sure if I'll add features.

Well, If you or anyone else can provide well balanced sets of drumkit samples I could
integrate them as user selectable or configurable kits etc..

What about making a drumkit where you can load custom samples in each key? that's the way LoopAzoid works...

I'm sorry I don't know coding, I would love to help adding these...

Do you mean *real* VST versions of the plugins
or 'pseudo' VST versions where audio process still runs in kX-DSP while the plugin's GUI
and control (MIDI data etc.) is done within/from the VST host environment?

Sure, but that's how most Drum VSTs work.
Plenty of those already available, even free ones.

Point is; none of those produce any sound 'out of the box' and that is
exactly what I don't like about them.
I don't want to mess with user samples, velocity layers etc. etc. while I'm trying
to make music. That's why BDF, DFH and GrooveAGent are popular.

So I'd rather expand 'Acoustic Drumkit VST' with good sounding
build-in kits, instruments etc. from which user can pick/choose/modify thier kit.
It's really all about the sample sets.

There are lots of (royalty free) drumkit sample sets available
in SoundFont and other formats on the net, but someone
(with good ears) has to collect, evaluate, edit and convert them.
That's a lot of work but takes no programming skills .

/Lex.

Hello Lex,

I like your drumkit player for the sounds, the only thing I need is a multiple out or a panning slider for each sound to create my own drum image or control the panning via controller message (you have to know that I like swirling HiHats very much ). Sorry for the repeated question...
Happy weekend!

Hey Travel,

Adding Stuff like Multi-output or Panning is a matter of programming and not a problem.
However, as I explained before, the current samples are stereo-ambient samples
so they cannot be panned.

What really would help in this matter is a complete sample set of a certain drumkit.
That is; seperate ambient samples, seperate velocitie samples etc etc.
(There used to be a free one somewhere on KVR)
