ReWired is on a distinguished road

now it is clear that we will never see:
- guitar amp simulator from Lex
- EF-X for 3534f, also amp and cab simulation from Tiger M
- UFX for 3538 from Max M
so...let's be happy with what we got and it is not a little

I can wait, Why UFX 39 Max? Your not gonna worry about 3538 version? BTW are they gonna be the same plugins for 3539 or are you gonna redo everything? -sorry I just wanna get hyped up about UFX for 39. Think of changin the color? maybe a nice dark theme? There was alot of comments about ProFX when they were released with the dark theme. I imagine you have lots of ideas for the new set correct Max? Why don't you give us some hints? -please..please..

well, i've already mentioned some time ago... unfortunately, kx38 has some features those prevent me to release ufx38 without downgrading some of its UI stuff (and i can't let it go this way - no, sorry, not at all)... Eugene has mentioned that the next version will be 39 - to avoid version numbering mixup
(and we both did agree to do something with that kx/ufx interoperability for the new release)
- although no exact dates, sorry again.... - simply - we do not know them

p.s. >I imagine you have lots of ideas for the new set correct Max?

My apologies again, no - i have to disappoint you - it will be an update only - no new plugins, no new features...

edit: some grammar

Yes, I remeber you saying something about that. I can appreciate that I would rather wait for really good plugins then have ones right now that the author "compromised" on. Anyway, what I was curious about is if you were just gonna use the current set and recompile them for the new driver set whenever you release them OR are you going to totally change the UFX set and build new plugins from the ground up. SO we will have the standards we have grown to love but they will be new and improved? or they will be exactly the same but for the new driver set..if that makes any sense. You must have had alot of new ideas for the plugins..can you give us some info on that?

TheKezReturns will become famous soon enough

Tiger,

you're EFX plugs just make me feel so warm and fuzzy inside and I just don't think I can live without.
Its a good authentic rhodes sound I'm after you see, and learjeffs free rhodes sf + EFX Tubedrive & a bit of Reverb station just happened to create one of the phattest rhodes sounds in the universe. ..No really, its true, you gotta here it.

Problem is, with 3538, there's a ridiculous latency on the kxsynth when ASIO is in use. Try running ableton live and then running your fingers up and down the keys on the rhodes sf (w MidiOX). The notes come out almost a full second later. This horrible KX disease is not present however in the 3534f release.

So I was thinking, if it's just teadious time consuming stuff thats prevents an easy 3534f version I'd love to help. I've coded a vst effect with GUI once but that's about as far as my c++ goes...

The problem is that I'm not familiar with the 34f sdk. When I started programming 3537 was in fashion.

One thing you can do: make your favourite settings of both effects, right-click then 'edit' and 'save dane source' on each one. Then in 3534f just double-click on each of the saved files and you got two "passive" effects with the settings you made.

I think I'll wait for 3539 for recompiling the effects.

nakamichi has a little shameless behaviour in the past

Where can I download 3534f and UFX for 3534f?
Does 3534f work with SB0240 and does it support the P16V /HQ out?

I read the changelog ;
http://kxproject.lugosoft.com/changes.php
and it indicated P16V was added later (3535A), then improved upon in 3537 - is why Im using 3538J.

I see.It has quite a few limitations, but anyway,I'd like to test the 16/48 performance of 3534f vs. 3538j and see what's the big deal with the UFX pack as well

3538j's 16/48 ASIO performance was very good, but I wonder if this build is really faster or it's just a "placebo effect".

and you can use "UFX 3537 beta" with 3534f.
installer will give you mistake after finish, but the plugins work well (there are many news in 3537beta, than 3534 UFX version)
